The production of the CD Au bord d’un monde was a succession of several stages, starting with the development of the Logelloop software, the musical creation in a process of improvisations with the dancer and visual artist, Noëlle Deffontaines, co-producer of the whole project.
Some parts of the music were conceived with the software, in an electroacoustic music framework, while others are music written for the bandoneon alone.
On Saturday 18 December, at the main Lannion’s Library, between 11 a.m. and 12 noon, I will play a few musical passages that I will dissect in order to shed some light on this hybrid music in several senses.
I will also talk about the place of the bandoneon in my music and more precisely about the construction of the melodies and accompaniments.
This will also be an opportunity for an exchange and I will answer various questions about the making of the CD Au bord d’un monde.
