On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant burst into flames and created the irreversible catastrophe we know about.a few days later, buses arrived in the villages and the inhabitants of the region were forced to leave their homes with a formal interdiction to take a few objects. The vast majority of them never returned home.

Thirty-four years later, while we are still in favour of nuclear energy, we are facing a pandemic and are confined to our homes. Compared to the displacement of an entire population, this confinement seems trivial.

In any case, it seems to me that today is a particularly appropriate day to share, for free listening, the Malenki Minki CD that I recorded in the forbidden zone of Chernobyl 12 years ago, in May 2008.
